Tubes

Addison had her ear tubes surgery this morning. As many of you know, we have been dealing with chronic ear infections since July. We have such a brave little girl! We got to the hospital at 6:45 this morning. The hospital was so nice. We got checked in grabbed a cup of coffee and took her back to get prepped. These are the pictures you see below. They had us put her in a gown and little footie slippers. Then they gave her a little cocktail! This made her act very drunk. She would babble a little and then look at us and smile. Then after sitting there for a while, they came and took her back to the surgery room. It was very sad to watch someone carry her down the hall while we had to wait in the waiting room. We didn't have to wait very long though. Just a quick bathroom break and they were calling us back to talk to the doctor! It was done and everything went well! We were then taken back to see her in the recovery room. She was up when we got to her room. They gave her some juice and after about 10 minutes we were allowed to go home.
