Funny Friday

Hot Summer Night

What to do on a hot summer night? Play in the sprinkler of course!!

This sprinkler came with little balls that you put in the side and the water in the middle pushes it right back out. If it sitting just right, the water will spit the ball out and hold it up in the air. The picture below, she went to look down the middle to see where the ball was and the water got her right in the eye!
Kinsley just watching her sister have fun. Next year at this time, I am sure both of them will be running around enjoying the water fun. It makes my heart hurt a little thinking about it because I know it will be here before I know it.

Baptism

The first two pictures are from a wedding that we went to down in Austin. The rehersal dinner was a luau themed. Addison and her Aunt Kate!

Lawson James and Kinsley Collen got Baptised on August 1 in Fort Worth. We were so happy that my dad was able to baptism them both and that Grandpa Gilmore could be there too!

How many donuts do you think you would get for $5.99? How about 1. That's right, just 1 donut. If you watch the TV show Man vs. Food you will know what I am talking about!

3 year and 3 months

We got the girls 3 year and 3 month pictures taken last week. And Lawson was able to come and get his 6 month pictures done as well. Tori is an amazing photographer. God has blessed her with such talent! She not only had to take pictures of a 3 year old, but a 6 month old and a 3 month old! See the link to her blog on the right hand side of my list of blogs for our preview. Tori has such an amazing talent and we are so glad she has captured our little angles in these pictures. Time flies by so fast and they won't be so little for much longer. We only have to look back at Addies 2 year old pictures to see what a difference 1 year makes. Thank you Tori!

First Hair Cut

She got her first hair cut yesterday! Just two inches to get the ends even, but I think it makes her look much older. She did very good and sat still while the lady cut her hair. After the hair cut daddy took us all out to dinner to celebrate!

Soccer

Well, we have been busy! See below for the picture updates! Addison had her first soccer practice last week and she loved it. The coach was very nice and the kids seemed to enjoy it! They learned to put a bubble in their mouth (be quite). Squash the bug (step on the ball) and they played a game where the coach was a dog and he was trying to get the bones (soccer balls) It is so much fun watching her play and learn about soccer.

Summer is coming!

It is starting to get hot here in Texas! We were able to spend a fun Sunday afternoon with our friends Ray, Kalie and Nicholas. Unfortunately, Nick wasn't here yet for the group picture, but when they are cooperating, you got to grab the moment when you can! It was funny, and not planned, that Kalie and Addie wore the same swim suit!

Jennifer, thanks for asking us to come and play at the splash park. I know that the kiddos had fun playing and it was so nice to sit and catch up with you girls!

Ray is a ladies man!
